Acceptable Use Policy
What worcia.com, the Lab demos, Worcia Console and the systems Worcia builds may not be used for, including the rules every AI agent we build must follow.
Effective 19 October 2026
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to:
- everyone who visits worcia.com or uses the Lab, our interactive tools and demos;
- everyone with a Worcia Console account;
- every client of Worcia, and anyone the client lets use a system we built.
It forms part of our Terms of Service. Where a signed engagement agreement covers the same point, that agreement wins.
2. Using the website, the Lab and Worcia Console
You must not:
- 2.1 probe, scan or test our systems for vulnerabilities without our written permission, try to reach anything that is not published, or interfere with the servers the site runs on;
- 2.2 send automated traffic heavy enough to slow the site for others, or copy or mirror the site at scale. Search engines and AI crawlers that follow our robots.txt are welcome;
- 2.3 get around rate limits, usage caps, anti-abuse checks or sign-in controls;
- 2.4 try to make a demo agent produce harmful or unlawful content, reveal its instructions, or work on tasks unrelated to Worcia;
- 2.5 send false, automated or spam submissions through our forms, or submit someone else's personal data without their permission;
- 2.6 upload malware or unlawful content to Worcia Console, or share your Console account with anyone else;
- 2.7 republish our content, design or code as your own.
3. What the systems we build may not be used for
We will not build, run or support a system intended for any of these uses, and you must not use a system we built for them:
- 3.1 Unlawful activity. Anything unlawful where the system operates, or anything that helps someone else break the law.
- 3.2 Illegal robocalls and texts. Calls or texts that use an artificial, prerecorded or AI-generated voice, or an autodialer, without the consent the law requires (in the US, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act); calls to numbers on do-not-call lists without a lawful exemption; calls outside permitted hours; and ignoring opt-out requests.
- 3.3 Spam. Unsolicited bulk messages by email, SMS, chat, social media or voice, or messages to lists you have no consent to contact.
- 3.4 Deception and fraud. Content designed to defraud people, phishing, collecting passwords or payment details under false pretenses, fake reviews, or market manipulation.
- 3.5 Impersonation. Passing a system off as a real person, organization or brand it has no right to represent, or cloning a real person's voice or likeness without their written consent.
- 3.6 Misleading people about AI. Any system designed to make people believe they are talking to a human when they are not (see section 4).
- 3.7 Unlawful recording. Recording or transcribing calls or conversations without the notice or consent the law requires.
- 3.8 Harassment. Threats, stalking, intimidation, or contacting a person who has asked you to stop.
- 3.9 Discrimination. Treating people differently in unlawful ways, including by protected characteristics, in who is served, how they are priced, or how they are screened.
- 3.10 Unreviewed high-stakes decisions. Automated decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, education or access to healthcare without the human review, notices and appeal rights the law requires.
- 3.11 Scraping and data harvesting. Collecting, buying or reselling personal data you have no right to hold, or scraping websites against their terms.
- 3.12 Attacks. Malware, denial-of-service attacks, unauthorized access to systems or accounts, or getting around security controls.
- 3.13 Harm to children. Any content that sexualizes or exploits minors, or collecting children's personal data without the parental consent the law requires.
4. Rules for AI agents
Every voice or chat agent we build follows these rules, and you must not change a system we built to break them:
- 4.1 It introduces itself. The agent introduces itself by name, in the business's voice. Where the law requires explicit AI disclosure, the agent uses it.
- 4.2 It offers a person. If someone asks to speak to a member of the team, the agent connects them, and it does not refuse a reasonable request to reach a person.
- 4.3 It gives recording notices. Where calls or chats are recorded or transcribed, the agent gives the notice the law requires, and gets consent where needed, before the conversation continues.
- 4.4 It hands off to a person. People can ask to speak to a human, and the agent passes them to one or tells them how to reach one.
- 4.5 It respects opt-outs. When someone asks not to be contacted again, the system records it and stops.
- 4.6 It stays within its limits. It does not give legal, medical or financial advice, and it does not make commitments on your behalf beyond what you have approved in writing.
A person is entitled to know when they are dealing with software. We will build you an agent that is fast, capable and clearly yours. We will not build one whose purpose is to be mistaken for a human being. More detail is in AI Use & Disclosure.
5. Your compliance responsibilities
Rules on consent, recording, AI disclosure and outbound contact differ by country and, in the US, by state. We build the mechanisms: disclosure lines, recording notices, consent capture, opt-out handling, handoff to a person, and logs of what was said and when.
6. Security research
If you find a security issue on worcia.com or in Worcia Console, email hello@worcia.com (opens in a new tab) with "Security" in the subject before you tell anyone else. We acknowledge reports within one business day. Please do not access data that is not yours, slow or disrupt the service, or publish details before we have had a reasonable chance to fix the issue. More detail is on our Security page.
7. Enforcement
- 7.1 We may decline work before it starts, or pause or stop work under way, if we reasonably believe a system is intended for, or is being put to, a use this policy prohibits. A considered judgment made in good faith is enough; we do not need a court to agree first.
- 7.2 Where the problem can be fixed, we tell you what has to change and give you a fair chance to change it. Where it cannot, we stop.
- 7.3 If we stop, we hand over the work you have paid for, and fees for work already done remain payable, as set out in the Refund & Payment Policy.
- 7.4 We may suspend website, Lab or Console access for anyone who breaks section 2.
- 7.5 We report unlawful activity to the authorities where the law requires us to.
8. Reporting misuse
To report misuse of our website, or of a system we built, email hello@worcia.com (opens in a new tab). Tell us what happened, when, and the phone number, address or page involved. We reply within one business day.
