02Atelier · Custom software
Custom software. Software shaped around how you work.
Worcia builds the software your business runs on when off-the-shelf tools don't fit: custom CRMs and lead management systems, ERPs, client and partner portals, dashboards, booking and quoting systems, and the integrations that make your tools talk. When a platform like HubSpot or Zoho fits, we configure and connect it instead. You own the code, the data and the documentation.

01Who it's for
Businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets, or bent off-the-shelf tools as far as they go.
- 01A sales team tracking leads in spreadsheets and inboxes
- 02A call center that needs every call logged to a customer record
- 03A firm whose clients need a portal for documents, updates and invoices
- 04A company re-typing the same data into three tools

02What's included
Everything inside Custom software.
CRMs and lead management
Pipelines, lead routing, call logging and follow-up built around how you sell, or a leading platform configured properly.
Internal tools and ERPs
Jobs, stock, scheduling, approvals and finance workflows built for your team, not adapted from someone else's.
Portals
Secure areas where clients, partners or suppliers log in, upload, track and pay.
Dashboards and reporting
The numbers you check, in one place, refreshed automatically.
Integrations and APIs
Your tools connected, so data is entered once and flows everywhere it's needed.
Migration and legacy replacement
Spreadsheets and aging software replaced in stages, with your data moved and cleaned.
03What you own
Handed over, in your name.
Code, accounts and data transfer to you deliverable by deliverable, as each invoice is paid.
The software, deployed in your accounts
Source code and technical documentation
Admin access and user training
Your data, migrated and de-duplicated

05What it is not
Clear edges.
- Custom for its own sake. If an off-the-shelf tool fits, we'll recommend it and connect it instead.
- A black box. You get the code, the documentation and admin access.
- Built in one big reveal. You see working software every week of the sprint.
06Built with
The right tools, chosen for you.
We choose technology per project and explain why in your Blueprint: what fits your team, your budget and the next five years, not what's fashionable.
- Web platforms
- TypeScript, Node.js and React for most products; other stacks when your team already runs them
- CRM platforms
- HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive and Salesforce, configured and connected when they fit better than a build
- Data
- PostgreSQL and other proven databases, with backups and access control from day one
- Integrations
- REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and file imports for systems without an API
07What we measure
Targets agreed up front. Measured from your baseline.
Definitions, not promises. Your targets are set in your Growth Blueprint.
01Hours saved
Time spent on the process before and after, from timesheets or a two-week sample.
02Record completeness
The share of customers or jobs with every required field, source and next step recorded.
03Error rate
Records re-entered, corrected or lost per 100, before and after.
04Adoption
The share of intended users active in the software each week.

Custom software in practice.
Use cases
- Keep the books current without the data entry
- Automate data entry into systems that have no API
- Give regular customers an app to book and rebook
- Give clients one place to see status, share files and approve work
- Build a lead management system that fits how you sell
- A CRM built for teams that live on the phone
Questions about Custom software
Should I build custom software or buy a tool?
Buy when a tool fits your process with light configuration; build when the process is how you win, or when you're paying for five tools to do one job. The Blueprint compares both honestly.
Do you build CRMs and lead management systems?
Yes. Worcia has built and run a call-center CRM in production, with an automated workflow from call to follow-up. We also configure HubSpot, Zoho and similar platforms when they fit better.
Can you move our data from spreadsheets or our old system?
Yes. We migrate contacts, deals, jobs and history, remove duplicates and check the result with you before switching over.
Who owns the code?
You do. Code, data and documentation transfer to you as each deliverable is paid.
