Follow-Up Sequence Templates
Text and email follow-up sequences for new leads, sent quotes, no-shows and old leads, with timing tables, message templates, stop rules and consent notes.
Four sequences to adapt, for new inquiries, quotes sent, no-shows and old leads, each with a timing table, message templates and stop rules. Set the timing by how your customers buy: a burst pipe needs a faster rhythm than next year's wedding.
How to use these templates
- {curly braces} are merge fields your CRM fills in for each lead.
- [square brackets] are your own wording, written once when you adapt the template.
- Each message names the lead's request and offers one next step.
- Every text ends with "Reply STOP to opt out." Every email ends with this footer, shown as [footer] below:
{sender_name}, {business}, {postal_address}. Unsubscribe: {unsubscribe_link}
Give every merge field a fallback: "Hi {first_name}" showing in a message is the clearest robot signal there is.
| Field | Example | Fallback if empty |
|---|---|---|
| {first_name} | Dana | "Hi" with no name |
| {service} | kitchen remodel, tax return, spring course (reads after "your") | request |
| {location} | Austin | your area |
| {inquiry_when} | in March | a while ago |
| {sender_name} | Sam | the team |
Quote and appointment fields come from your quoting tool or calendar and should never be empty.
